Jill Carver has worked her way to prominence in the western art world from humble beginnings. Originally from London, England, Jill Carver moved to the United States in 2002, she began her art career selling solely at art fairs with her trusty 10 x 10 ft tent-booth. 

Before becoming a full-time professional artist, she worked as a curatorial research assistant at the National Portrait Gallery in London for 12 years. Now, Jill lives in Rico, Colorado, a small historical mining town nestled in the San Juan Mountains.

In 2014, Jill won the Gold Medal (Artists’ Choice) for Best in Show at Maynard Dixon Country and was inaugurated as a Signature Member of Plein Air Painters of America, where she currently serves on the board.
