Paint by Note Value Specs

I have seen these glasses advertised with Eric for awhile and thought they were kinda silly. Then I received a pair of these glasses. You know what? They are fun and actually quite helpful. Very pleasantly surprised!

There is no question, these are valuable. Not only outside but also in studio, they helped get my values correct. I move them up away from my eyes and then drop them again over my eyes as I paint knowing where my values are.i do this several times as I paint.

A valuable tool! ValuSpecs quickly reveal dark and light patterns in an outdoor scenes aiding speedy planning of plein air compositions. I pull them out also when struggling with a studio piece to check values.

The value specs work great! They really give me a clear indication of relative values, no matter the color. They have been very helpful, and I would recommend them.

As a set_in_stone dyslexic, I have to constantly check I’ve not switched my intended choices. I especially love they are glasses, which can sit on my head, rather than a card which will inevitably be out of reach. When outside, this part of seeing more accurately becomes no more than sliding them on.
