In the beautiful Florida Keys, Pigeon Key is the original work camp for the Overseas Railway built by Henry Flagler in the early 1900's. Today, it houses eight historic structures and is home to the Pigeon Key Marine Science Center. Carl painted on location throughout this small island and also took many reference photos. Carl paints his watercolor from a photo of one of the main buildings. He has composed and simplified the subject for my his interpretation of this tropical wonder!

Please note: This is a pure demonstration video. Carl shows his process but doesn't speak instruction during the course of the video.
