Today’s watercolor painting technique comes from Keiko Tanabe’s “Storytelling with Watercolor.”
A great way to get immediate texture in your watercolor (and acrylic) work is to lightly splatter water in an area that’s still slightly wet. BONUS, you can do the same thing but if you add a bit of color to the mixture, you’ll get a slightly varied (and totally interesting) effect.
